For 12 years the progressive rock formation Leap Day organised the Northern Prog Festival in Siegerswoude. In 2025 the band announced that the festival on Saturday 1st of november 2025 will be the last festival they will organize.
At the end of their perfomance they received flowers and the audience thanked them for organizing the nicest progressive rock festival in the North of the Netherlands 12 times in a row.
But then there was a big surpise. The biggest fan of the band was asked to read a press release and there it was anounced that also in 2026 there will be the next edition of the Northern Prog Festival.
